چکیده

Adenosine, known as an endogenous neuroprotective agent and acting a cytoprotective modulator in organisms, is the subject of considerable scientific interest. Medicinal mushrooms represent good source bioactive compounds due to their composition potent adaptogenic action, affecting more than 300 biochemical processes functions organisms. The aim present study was investigate adenosine precursors biologically active peptides cultured fresh mycelium with focus on Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi) Cordyceps sinensis best studied species. Biologically extracts are derived by fermentation Bacillus subtilis NBIMCC 2353 strain. Enhancement total proteolytic activity culture medium enriched native bovine collagen protein recorded. results demonstrate clear trend increasing cordycepin content militaris sample grown optimized composition, presence being 2.22% 0.64%. obtained increase 1.9% for 0.24% adenosine, respectively. application combined biotechnological approaches use components from natural organic sources resulting final product high biological determine relevant significant its practical application.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Sarcodon Mushrooms: Biologically Active Metabolites

Thelephorales Corn ex. Oberw. belong to the Agaricomycetes (Basidiomycota, Fungi) and comprise more than 177 species (Kirk et al., 2008) that are classified into two families: the Bankeraceae Donk (mostly with colourless basidiospores) and the Thelephoraceae Chevall. (mostly with brown to yellowish basidiospores) (Yorou & Agerer, 2007). Bankeraceae are characterized by a typical fenugreek odour...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Handbook of Biologically Active Peptides

Pheromones are chemical messages known to elicit changes in behavioral reactions that are followed by physiological alterations in conspecific receiver organisms. Pheromones comprise a wide range of compounds, of varied chemical nature, that range from small-molecule volatile compounds to high-molecular-weight, water-soluble, nonvolatile peptides and proteins. Although volatile pheromone molecu...
